The Youth of the German Alpine Club are inviting young climbers and hikers of all abilities to take part in the multi-activity camp Hot Rocks, Wild Water.

If you have never before climbed a 5000 meter peak, here is your chance. This summer young mountaineers aged 18-30 years from different UIAA countries will ascend Mt Kazbek, Georgia.

You might not be going to Beijing this summer, but you still have the chance to be a part of the Olympics. As part of the Global Youth Summit, we are inviting young mountaineers to ascend Mount Olympus on the 24th August.

The Ukrainian Mountaineering and Climbing Federations invites young mountaineers aged 16 – 30 to join their international ascent of Mt Elbrus, summer 2008. The event is part of the Global Youth Summit.

If you are between 17-29 years old and like ski touring you have a great opportunity this winter. From 26th January to 2nd February 2008 you can take part in an international ski touring camp in Slovenia.

From 8th July – 18th July 2007, eleven young climbers took part in an international UIAA youth expedition to Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe. While they were acclimatising and preparing for the ascent, the climbers got the chance to compare experience and get more practice on glaciers.
