Pakistan maintains reduced peak fees

The Ministry of Tourism in Pakistan has announced that the the prices for peak fees will remain at the same reduced levels as in the past two years.
"We hope the mountaineering community will make maximum use of these lucrative incentives and come to Pakistan," says Nazir Sabir, President of the Alpine Club of Pakistan.
The ministry will charge no fees for peaks up to 6500m. Climbers will only have to pay 10 per cent of the fee for mountains situated in Chitral, Gilgit and Ghizar except on Spantik/Golden Peak, five per cent of the fee for any peak during the winter season (December- February) and 50 per cent of the normal fee for all peaks except those already mentioned.
This means the prices will remain as follows for the remaining peaks:
