Training standards Seminar
06 Mar 2008
The 6-7th May 2008 representatives from our member federation have the chance to take part in a seminar on training standards.
During the two-day seminar we will examine how we standardise the training and assessment of leaders, trainers and assessors at national and international levels. We will also discuss record-keeping strategies for the UIAA’s Model Standards for Voluntary Leaders with the intention of producing a standardised format for moderation visits.
The seminar will take place at Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre, in North Wales, United Kingdom. It is organised by Mountain Leader Training and the National Mountain Centre.
Arrival 5th May
Departure 8th May.
Cost: Not decided yet, but probably under 200 Euros per person.
You will find more information in the invitation. If you would like to take part, please fill out the booking form.
You can find more information about how to develop a national traning standards scheme approved by the UIAA in the UIAA Training Standards pages.
