The UIAA - International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation is looking for an Office Manager for its headquarters located in Bern, Switzerland.
The successful candidate will report to the Executive Board and be responsible for the overall management of the UIAA activities, work with the Management Committee and various commissions, lead and coordinate office staff.

The day credited for the birth of the idea of an international federation of climbing clubs is 27 August 1932 and it came about during a meeting that took place at a conference in Chamonix, France (21 August - 3 September 1932) when representatives of 19 countries assembled at the Majestic Hotel.
German-born historian Carolin Roeder will spend the summer poring over the archives of the UIAA as she works on a novel history of mountaineering involving transnational relationships between mountaineers.
