SUMMARY:2024 Youth Ice Climbing Camp
DESCRIPTION:The UIAA Youth Commission has confirmed details of its first event for 2024. \nPLEASE NOTE THAT AS OF JANUARY 2024\, REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS REACHED ITS MAXIMUM CAPACITY. THERE ARE NO SPACES AVAILABLE. \nThe popular annual Ice Climbing Camp in Guillestre\, Hautes Alpes (France) will be held from 11-17 February. \nThe main goal of this ice climbing camp is to allow youngsters to practice many forms of ice climbing – single pitch\, or routes with multiple pitches\, and also how to manage training. The camp is open to international climbers aged between 16 and 26. \nThe full programme and application details can be found here. \n

SUMMARY:2024 UIAA Ice Climbing World Championships and World Cup - Edmonton\, Canada
DESCRIPTION:The final round of the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup season will be held in Edmonton\, Canada from 16-18 February. The event will dually stage a World Cup event and the biennial World Championships. \nThis will be an incredibly exciting city event held in downtown Edmonton\, close to the Oilers Ice Hockey stadium\, hosted by the Edmonton section of the Alpine Club of Canada. World champions in Lead and Speed will be crowned in this exciting new venue. It represents a return to a big city urban setting following the success\, and massive crowds\, who came to the event in Denver\, Colorado in 2019 \nThe UIAA will offer livestreaming from the competition which will crown winners in the lead and speed disciplines. \nFull details here. \n
