DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the UK’s’ friendliest outdoors festival’. The 2025 edition will be held from 4-7 July.\n\n\n\n\nCome and share your love of the outdoors with other like-minded folk at Base Camp Festival 2025 – the small and friendly festival for over-18s. Located in a very special corner of the Lake District\, the festival site provides the perfect base for exploring the surrounding fells and crags\, accessing the pristine waters of Buttermere\, and enjoying the friendly atmosphere and numerous talks\, films\, workshops\, music and other activities we have on-site. \n\n\n\nTickets\nWebsite \n— \nThis event has been selected as one of the profiled Rock Climbing festivals approved to appear on the UIAA’s annual calendar of rock climbing festivals worldwide. SUMMARY:Mountaineering Ireland Summer Alpine Meet
DESCRIPTION:The location for the Mountaineering Ireland Summer Alpine Meet this year is Argentière\, Chamonix\, France. This region is perfectly suited to trekking\, hiking\, climbing and mountaineering\, as well as many other outdoor activities. \nThis Meet is for walkers\, rock climbers\, and mountaineers of all ages and abilities. It is a wonderful opportunity for all Mountaineering Ireland members\, new and old to meet established friends and make new ones\, go walking\, mountaineering and climbing in some of France’s most beautiful scenery. The purpose is to gather like-minded people together in an alpine area where they can walk\, rock climb\, boulder and climb snow covered and rocky alpine peaks. The main emphasis of the meet is to have fun! \nClosing date for booking is 30 April 2025. \nThere is a 10% reduction on some courses booked before 30th March 2025. \nThere is a 10% reduction on some youth (age 18 – 26) courses booked before 30th April 2025. \nFor further information and to help you decide which course is right for you\, please see the Alpine Meet 2025 Information Pack on our website.
