SUMMARY:2026 Youth Ice Climbing Camp
DESCRIPTION:The UIAA Youth Commission has confirmed details of its first associated event for 2026. \nThe popular annual Ice Climbing Camp in Guillestre\, Hautes Alpes (France) will be held from 22-28 February. \nThe main goal of this ice climbing camp is to allow youngsters to practice many forms of ice climbing – single pitch\, or routes with multiple pitches\, and also how to manage training. The camp is open to international climbers aged between 16 and 26. Climbers explore hundreds of problems across multiple sectors while sharing knowledge and experiences in a relaxed community atmosphere. \nEveryone can participate\, from young to old\, from World Cup athletes to amateurs. DESCRIPTION:Flash Foxy originated to empower women climbers and offer a virtual space to connect over climbing\, being outside together\, and building community. The inaugural Women’s Climbing Festival in 2016 helped establish an alternate climbing space in real life that did not center cisgender men. \nThe climbing community is not static and Flash Foxy has adapted over the years to meet the needs of its membership as they grow\, change and continue to self-actualize. DESCRIPTION:The Hvar Climbing Festival is a growing international climbing gathering that highlights the limestone sport climbing of Croatia’s Adriatic islands. \n4–7 June 2026\nHvar Island\, Croatia (festival base around Jelsa) \nOverview\nA relatively new festival on stunning sea cliffs such as Vela Stiniva and Lučišća. Ideal for enjoying a relaxed festival atmosphere. Climbing has been developed there by a strong team of invested locals\, some of whom offer accommodation. There will be a climbing marathon held on Vela  Stiniva. At Lučišća there are routes starting from 5c but the majority are in the Fr 7a-9a range. DESCRIPTION:The Petzl Frankenjura Climbing Festival is one of the largest climbing gatherings in the German-speaking world. Hosted in the village of Königstein\, the festival celebrates the historic pocketed limestone climbing of the Frankenjura with several days of climbing\, lectures and community events. \nLocation: Königstein\, Bavaria\, in the Frankenjura climbing region\, Germany \nRegistration: The festival fee of €40 for the entire four-day event\, or €15 per day\, can be paid directly on site. DESCRIPTION:Oh My Bloc is a bouldering festival\, held in Milly-la-Forêt (France)\, aiming to inform and educate climbers who are as passionate as we are about climbing in an environmentally-friendly way. We’re delighted that the passion for bouldering is contagious\, and in a magical forest\, we have to adapt our gym routines to a shared and fragile natural environment. \n\n\nThere will be rock climbing in a natural environment\, of course\, with adult and children’s competitions and introductory courses. There will also be a magnificent final on our newly-covered bouldering wall.
