Oulu: Due North
One of the most Northerly cities in the world, Oulu, in the region of North Ostrobothnia, Finland will present visitors with stunning night skies, whilst it’s 22m Ice Tower offers competitors with a challenging and technical routes. The venue will host both the annual UIAA Ice Climbing World Youth Championships (28 February – 2 March) and the conclusion to the UIAA Ice Climbing European Tour (3 March).

For free accommodation, the on-line pre-registration and payment of the 30€ competition fee are required, the pre-registration system is available at: https://finice2019-iwyc.eventbrite.com
Pre-registration deadline is 1 February 2019. Any competitors registering after this must pay a penalty of 20€. Furthermore, Finice2019 cannot guarantee free accommodation for competitors registering beyond this deadline. Those, who cannot pre-register online, for instance due to lack of credit card, should contact the organizer directly to arrange alternative pre-registration.
For coaches, team managers, family members and other spectators the pre- registration system allows purchase of community ticket that includes access to the all side events, lunches at the competition venue (Youth World Championships + European Cup Finals), Finice2019 Saturday evening get together and Sunday evening final party and catering at the party venue.
UIAA Youth World Championships registration allows access also to European Cup finals as a spectator (including the lunch at the competition venue) as well as side events. Those wishing to compete need to pre-register and pay separate European Cup Finals competition ticket.
Free accommodation for two nights (28 February and 1 March 2019, extra nights for the European Cup are at own cost) at the Nallikari Seaside for all competitors and two coaches/team managers per ten (10) competitors.
