Climb Angola Festival
The 3rd edition of the Climb Angola Festival will be held from 24 July – 3 August 2026.
The event features an amazing 10 days of climbing, highlining, route development and camping in Serra da Leba, Angola. The festival will feature a bolting workshop, film screenings, live music, cultural events, and more.
A dedicated guidebook has also been produced offering an overview of Angola’s rock climbing routes.
The event takes place on the cliffs of Serra da Leba, a stunning location on the edge of the Huila plateau overlooking the Namib desert plains. With over 100+ routes of all grades, the festival is open to climbers of all levels, and we’re excited to welcome climbers from around the world.

This event has been selected as one of the profiled Rock Climbing festivals approved to appear on the UIAA’s annual calendar of rock climbing festivals worldwide. A dedicated website page about the UIAA’s work in rock climbing will be available shortly.
