3 June: UIAA to host progress meeting for member associations

UIAA

Recently the UIAA – International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation – hosted its spring meetings in Leeds, England. The five-day event included meetings of the UIAA Executive Board, Management Committee, Commissions as well as a number of workshops and case study discussions. A review of the meetings can be found here.

Following on from these meetings, the UIAA is hosting a special two-hour online session open to member federations and Commission delegates. This will be held on Saturday 3 June from 1300-1500 CEST (find your local time here).

The objective of the meeting is to provide member associations with a half yearly report from the UIAA and offer details on the topics and themes which will be discussed at October’s General Assembly.

The draft event programme can be found here. A welcome note from UIAA President Peter Muir can be found below.

Access (login details and links) will be provided by the UIAA Office to those who register for the event. Please register here to ensure you receive the link and reminders.

Dear members,

As you know, we are working on improving internal and external UIAA communications. As a part of this project, I am pleased to invite you to attend our first online information member meeting. The meeting will offer you important updates and better prepare you for our General Assembly in Turkey.

I really look forward to seeing you online on 3 June

Peter Muir,
UIAA President
