Mountain Voices. New podcast from the UIAA

The UIAA has launched a new podcast, Mountain Voices.

Mountain Voices will unite experts from the climbing and mountaineering world to discuss issues that affect climbers and mountaineers. The first series will see six episodes produced from mid-February to the end of March.

Episode #1 is now available on all major podcast platforms and addresses competition ice climbing and features the contributions of Rob Adie, UIAA Sports Event Coordinator, as well as athletes Gordon McArthur and Eimir McSwiggan. This has been released to time with the hosting of the biennial UIAA Ice Climbing World Championships in Edmonton, Canada from 16-18 February.

Episode #2, scheduled for the week of 26 February will focus on Avalanches and draw from the recent UIAA safety announcement while Episode #3, coming a week later, focuses on women in mountaineering and recent medical advice.
