The Alpine of Association of Slovenia is another member federation to have introduced a dedicated portal for Covid-19 news. It can be found here.
The federation also published the following statement:
The Alpine Federation of Slovenia urges all mountain lovers to give up mountain activities in the current situation and not to put themselves at unnecessary risk and to put additional stress on mountain rescuers and medical personnel.
Mountain huts, nature climbing areas and some mountain trails throughout Slovenia are closed. We recommend only easier walks near the home, following the recommendations of those in charge. To keep in touch, you can use our Online Library With a Book in the Mountains, to which we add every day a free book or video content or an article from the Mountain Journal, and you can learn the mountain knots in the Little School of Mountaineering your knowledge or gain some other skill to visit the mountains safely.
